The BX Rochester Political Action Committee (PAC) was formed in the spring of 2006 in order to allow the Rochester Builders Exchange and it's members to more effectively advocate for the construction industry in Albany.

The PAC accomplishes this goal through active fundraising in order to raise money, which can in turn be utilized to endorse potential candidates.  The endorsement process centers on candidate interviews, where in the Committee members interview each candidate and his or her opponent, then collectively vote on which candidate, if any, to endorse.  The endorsement is based on how well the committee believes the candidate will support the construction industry.
